Funny, but obviously fake. You would need 20 billion nickels to pay a $1B fine. I doubt there's even that many nickels in circulation in the US. [ September 13, 2012, 10:07 PM: Message edited by: wilit ]

This happened 2 weeks ago. Its real and it took like 20-30 trucks to transport all the nickels to Apple. Samsung did it out of spite since they lost the lawsuit

Considering they're appealing the ruling, I doubt they would pay so soon. Also, if it was real, why hasn't this been on every news channel in the world?
Also... Confirmed... Fake. http://www.snopes.com/politics/satire/samsung.asp

Yup fake story and all they would have to do is weigh it so if a nickel weighs 5 grams and you need 20 billion nickels.
