So my clutch has been taking too much of a beating N well it slips at WOT so I think the time to change it out is near. I heard you should change out the flywheel at the same time? Do I really have to? Any recomendations on what to get? Will my longtubes be in the way of my clutch swap?

Most people just resurface their flywheel as long as its still in good condition. Make sure to run new ford pilot and throwout bearings. Aftermarket ones tend to crap out quicker than the oem stuff.

I would rather replace it. N they sell the ford bearings on any site? N well I guess this clutch will have to do untill I put on my new suspension.

If you plan on running slicks and launching at any high RPM I would just replace it with a billet steel. Would not want that old ass flywheel breaking up into pieces at high RPM.

Summit sells the ford racing bearing. That's where I picked mine up from. You should also be able to just resurface the flywheel. Might want to look into getting a lakewood or quicktime housing while you have the clutch off.

Steel FW, centerforce DF, and stock t5 has been a winning combo for the last 2 years, through a few thousand donuts and some drift events still goin strong. And definently run a frpp throwout bearing if you want it to last.

Well right now I'm bidding on a brand new Ram HDX N well seems like I'm going to win for $100. If I get outbid I'll look into this clutch.
