I have a 01 gt and its getting pretty good gas mileage and my only mod is a k&n intake. I'm probably going to lower the car and just go slow on the bumps lol

Nope, the lower rpms are off set by the extra weight.

u add a 1" spacer to your gas pedal to take the slack out of the cable and bring your pedal right next to the brake. just google "mustang gas pedal mod"

Shift below 2k rpm while on street and stay between 65-70mph on the freeway. You would be amazed at how much gas you save. Going 80mph only gets you to your destination a few minutes early. Unless you are driving for 2-3 hours. Then yes book it. lol [ June 22, 2012, 05:55 PM: Message edited by: BLK35th ]

Remove 4 spark plug wires to convert it to a 4 cylinder. You'll save tons of gas.
J/K like others said granny shifting and keeping it at 65 or 70 on the freeway. Don't down shift will help too.
