Little J passed away 30 min ago his fight is over. I hope he finds peace.
Life isn't fair!! I'm at loss for words.

Man....... Life isn't fair. I can relate to you, a good friend of mine just buried her two year old son (He passed form cancer) Witnessing this innocent little boy fight was so awesome. But seeing him in agonizing pain was truly heartbreaking, I wish so badly that I could have taken his place. You said it perfect.... This shit isn't fair.
From the bottom of my heart Sal. I'm so sorry for you and your friends loss.

it is an unimagineably hard and cruely frustrating to be in that position relief for physical suffering to end but mental anguish for them not being there....never shy away from mention of his name, keep him with you, as im sure he will keep you close also. talk to him and tell him like you would everyday you love him, never be sorry for his departure but happy for the better place he is in.......

Sal, I'm truly at a loss for words right now. My kids are 5 and 2... I can't even fathom having to endure something like this. It sounds like his young life was frought with many challenges. All of his family and friends can rest assured that he's in a better place now.

Damn, this is very sad to hear sal. Rip to little J and may his family find some peace in knowing that he is in a better place now and all his suffering has ended. Although he is not physically here any longer, I'm sure little J will be watching over you and all his loved ones. Truly heart wrenching news and i can't imagine going through something like this

We were all use to watching him overcome all the obstacles heart surgery and heart surgery he thumbed his nose at death. We all expected him to beat the odds again.
His dad is one of my swat team comrads we are all a close knit group. If one bleeds we all do if one suffers we all do and this one stings. His pain is our pain.
