I've been shopping around for some replacement seats for my cobra bubt cant seem to find any used ones that I like, so I was wondering if anyone has an upholstery shop hook up in the bay area. I'm looking to get my seats recovered like the 03-04 cobra seats. I want black leather or vinyly with suade inserts. Does anyone know a shop that can do this for a reasonable price?

u would need to do some extra work to fit the 03/04 covers since they have more lumbar support.
try looking into katzkin.com as they sell all sort of seat covers from leather, vinyl to 2 tone custom crap. y not get the mrc seats again?

Well, i was just looking at getting my seats recovered in the same color scheme as the cobra seats, but not the same contour.
Yea, I could get MRC seats again but Im trying to avoid racing seats. I'm looking for something other than stock GT seats that provide a little better lumbar support, but still comfortable for commuting.

i think katzkin would be your best bet then and just install over your existing frame.
i havent had more than 10miles of seat time w/ those mrc so not sure how uncomfortable they might.

Well, they're not too bad from what I remember, but they defintiely are too stiff for long commutes in my opinion. If you sit in them while they're slightly reclined, there is a metal bar at the lower back area that kind of gets annoying...but if you drive with the seat straight up vertically, then they;re fine.
