It's news, it's public and everywhere. Anyway, every county vehicle theft task force has or had one of these cars at one point or time. Doesn't matter how many people you tell, they way it gets set up, someone always boosts the ride. It's not like they lock it up and watch it in a driveway, they make it more enticing than that. Often, they catch joy-riders, not car thiefs.

I think those things are crap. I work at the home depot and the Sac sheriff had a setup car in our parking lot. Anyways, the theifs stole it and got away. There was like 5 or 6 sheriffs in our store looking through our security tape. How can they let something like that happen?

i work in insurance they give us yearly reports and hondas are the number one stolen vehicles even in the bay area last I heard we probably just hear more about stangs bc we associate with people w stangs and people actually care when those are missing ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

Mustang's were on the list last year if I remember correctly.

I think they were in the top 5 if I remember when I went to get insurance they made sure to say something about that and hondas have been at the top for ever
