Maier Racing already makes a full fender in 1.5 and 3 inch.
I have the 1.5" Maier flares. They were intended for purpose-built track cars. From what I've heard, when installing them they are a pain in the ass. They were not made to fit nice and clean. A lot of cutting, grinding, etc. needed to make them fit right.

^ Well that doesn't shock me. No piece of fiberglass is ready for paint without some fitting. Some just need a lot more then others.
