Not too familiar with other places besides dealerships and banks for loans. But i have heard great things about safe credit union banks with very low interest rates. Jus my 2 cents.

Why wouldn't you finance thru a bank??? Unless you have super shitty credit. Even still, a reputable dealership can get you special financing at ridiculously high rates.
Your other option is to but a car from a junk "buy here pay here" car lot that does in house financing. Again your going to get ass raped on interest.

You might have trouble getting a full loan. These cars are over 10 years old. A lot of banks wont finwnce them.

Assuming you have no credit because you are very young. Start small with a 500-1000 credit card. Use it to pay for gas a few times a month and pay it off. ALWAYS MAKE YOUR PAYMENT ON TIME!!!! Take it from a guy who bought dumb shit on credit when I was young. Save your money and don't go overboard buying material items. You will thank yourself later in life.

Credit Unions usually give a better rate to you because they need your business more.

most credit unions offer the best rates compared to a regular bank but only if you have good credit like 740 and up.

Not really a smart move in the first place to finance a 10 yr old car just .my .02. But some are correct you must find a 04 to finance unless you get a personal loan

That would be a REFI, they'll do that in a heart beat to rob u on interest , NOT a good move at all buddy , unless you wanna pay 30k at the end for a hoot GT. subject is LOAN

If you absolutely have to finance the car than like what everyone said above me..a credit union will give you a pretty good deal on interest.
My advice..don't finance the car..save your marbles and when you reach the goal (what do these cars go for $16-17K) you know you will be free and clear of any payments (except for insurance that is).
