Looking into some mid ranged tactical lights. I read about the surefire x300 and streamlight but don't know what to check out. Looking for something in the $150 range for a sig p229. And maybe the AR

I'll ask my brother in law what he's running on his AR for a light...I do know he's been rocking an Aimpoint with the lithium batteries & it last a really long time. I'm shure he could give me the the pro's & cons of the ones he and his buddys are using in swat. I don't know how soon you're looking to buy, but I'll probably talk to him this weekend. Feel free to PM me.
That lucky SOB has a 10.5 Noveski. I haven't had a chance to go shooting with him yet, but I told him I'll have to shoot that thing when we hit the range.

Yea just looking for something down the road. No rush. The stream lights seems like a go to for most people. Thanks man.
