All 88 California mustangs had mass air, this car does not! So therefore it can not be a 88 CHP car! California highway patrol car would be a California car with mass air!

It's probably a government car not a chp. Everybody thinks ssp in California means its a chp but in this case it's not.

Funny thing I almost bought it for a $600 from the previous owner, but the new owner offered more, I only thought it was worth $1500-$2000, if I flipped it or parted it out, it was very rough, it also had no title and back registration problems.
