can they be purchased individually? i need one...got a rotating assembly but one rod is missing..or can you direct me to some quality rods for a fair price.."fair" not cheap..lol thanks

yes...you need to know the rod itself and then have the whole assembly rebalanced

for $300 or so, you can get a decent set of Carillo H beams which will be fine for that application

And if ur gonna scab the shit together then take the pistons and install the rings then check with piston maker for spec sheet and see what fueler gauge should show for clearance inside the ring pack.

If ur learnin all this shit its great, especially for donut and sideshow mobiles, but don't charge anyone cuz it can come apart and then ur to blame and its their money ya know?

Magnafluxing only checks for cracks. It does nothing to check for straight-ness. You're going to either get a dial gauge and a micrometer and measure it or have a machine shop do it. If a rod broke and possibly bent others, there's a good chance the crank could require some machine work to get back straight.

i would mag the pistons too especially the one the rod broke on i swear i see a hairline crack on it...not trying to be a dick but you dont want to put more money into that when the piston may be bad too
