I've mounted mine in several different places: -on dashboard using one of the stick-on clip mounts -on top of the roof using suction cup -on rear window facing forward using suction cup -on driver side rear quarter window using suction cup -on my harness bar using roll bar mount
I liked the view of the driver side quarter window because it shows your hands and steering wheel while having a view in front of the car. I just got my roll bar mount so that's what I've been using lately. It looks cool since its wide angle...shows everything you see through your windshield while showing the entire cabin as well (you steering the wheel, shifting, etc.).
I highly recommend getting the LCD backpack. It allows you to actually view what you're recording so you can place the camera at the best angle...without it you're basically playing a guessing game. Good luck and have fun with it. They're great little cameras!

I also got the lcd backpack and 32gig card.. I was thinking of mounting it on the rear right behind the back tire looking forward so I can watch the whole side of the car and the front wheels to watch them come off the ground.
Do I have to worry about the suction cup holding? Going to be going 135+ in the car. Will it hold?

So how do I record slow motion? Do I just set it to 120 Fps and than play back? Or do I have to edit it somehow?
