I got a stock 86 gt with an automatic tranny. My friend wants to race with his 2000 gt that has cold air intake and his car is stick. I plan on doing a tranny conversion and getting full exhaust and 3.73 gears. If he got 3.73 gears too who would win? ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)

ive pulled on them in my 85 stick, not by a big margin, but i have a LOT more than just exhaust and gears
Id assume with a stock 86 motor and just exhaust and gears that you will loose.

Give it up now. When my 99GT was stock...I can't remember the amount of times I dusted 5.0's...All idiots that thought since they dusted 96-98 GT's, they can take mine.lol. Just give it up man. Especially the freeway....If HE knows better, he will challenge you on the freeway (knowing he will OWN you). GIVE IT UP.
