Have any one here done it before KB website say there good for lowboost, nitrous ect if the rings are gapped a certain amount....looking to boost my 306 getting bored with just H/C/I combo

I'm by no means an engine builder but I think the gap for the rings is just for piston expansion inside the cylinder but with hyper pistons the expansion is minimal and the pistons while not favored for boost, they should last as long as the stock block. The tune is what will make or break your engine with hypers. Hope this helped and i'm sure some one will correct me if i'm wrong

Edit: decide what pistons you will use before you have the block machined. The cylinder should be bored to a certain tolerance based on what material pistons you go with. Like cast pistons expand more than any other needing more tollerance inside the cylinder

Engine is together I gapped them for NA been running this combo for awile tired of it I want to stroke it but I know I'll get tired of that to so I going to boost it vortech/procharger, and I going to buy a fordstroker dart kit in the mean time....but the supercharger comes first just wondering if anyone here has do it not very much info on the web..
