so i was on cl looking for sidework. saw a 89 toyta that needed a heater core. i told the lady {woman name in email} 25 and hr a min. of 4 and a max of 7. she agreed and we had some bad weather so i hadnt done it. i looked more into the job. asked her if flat rate was fine at 300. i also asked how much shops charged or qouted her. she said 425-600. she told me she only wanted to spend 300 including the heater core. i wrote her back and said ok ill be there these 2 days {going to spilit it in 2 days depending on how it went} i got an email the other day saying she was unsure if it was worth it and she would send me something in the mail and asked for my info. so i gave her my po box info and name. i told in a reply. that it was needed {she was mailing me something for my time} i said look ill do it for the agreement i made and that will be less tehn 300 for sure. she said i am just going to leave the toyta the way it is and drive it. im currently looking for a new car. she thanked me a few times for me kindness...etc. {in the email b4 this i also said look im trying to get by and ill do that work cheap as it will help my family} she said im going to send you a check for your time {firs it was something now its a check} shes sending it tmro and im really wondering if shes going to send soemthing rude for me changing price {its a hard job... dash and all gets removed} of if there is just a very nice person on cl who is going to send a tahnk you car and something in it. so well see. i searched for her on fb and yellow pages and got nothing. so i wonder whats going to come. i doubt anything... has anyone else ever had something like this happen off cl

so i got a letter in the mail today with a check from the lady for 30 bucks. i was blown away by her kindness. i just talked to her about the side job etc. exchanged a few emails. she thanked me for explaing to her the job and what not. i guess there is some kind people on cl. so i got 30s bucks... kick ass ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

no i took it to her bank to dbl check. it was good. i know i was just amazed with just a few emails that she felt i gave her my time and what not. she decided agist fixing it but still she could have just stoped emailing me etc. i am very thankfull for the money. she is very nice. i bought a thank you card and im sending it out tmro. just if everyone had a kind heart and consideration for other people... i know im not one of them but this really got me to...besides being happy...makes me want to go do some good. she said i hope you have happy holidays and heres something for your time...sorry it didnt work out. i was going to charge 300 for the side job... so for her just sending 30 buck was fucking sweet
