the seals i need are for the rack and pinion (2) and the pressurized hose at the PS pump (1)
these are the seals that need to be heated to fit around the fitting. i called oreillys, but those idiots keep putting me on hold...

Half the people who work in chain part stores don't know shit. Last time I called if the had a serpintine belt N I gave him the inches I needed N he put me on hold for days just to say he doesn't know.

ive been hearing pros and cons of that...if i cant get the seal, ill opt for the tape...i guess

Ford dealership has them. And their not too expensive. I also have a couple here. You are talking about the teflon rings right? The ones I have worked on my 04 Mach 1 steering rack.

FYI so it looks like the ford dealership has the seals...ill have to go there and confirm because i did it over the phone...part# appears to be 38898-S for the bigger fittings and 38897-S for the one smaller fitting
