haha^ i was headed south bound on 80 comin home
~no speedo cable man.. and it was a one time thing in my old car i dont go out doin that kinda shit jus for kicks

It would be might kill yourself or someone else,get a fat-ass ticket,felony speeding,roughed up on the side of the freeway,dragged to jail for the weekend,not able to get a driving job for at least 6 years fast.

With 16" Pony's, and 45+ sidewall tires, overall tire size is around 20-21", with .72 5th Gear ratio and 5,000 RPM's, this thing shows around 169+, which is too fast in that car. Lucky the tires didn't burst, or shit didn't fall off!

You should put a gps device on your windshield. They will tell you your current MPH @ all times while moving.

the car is gone thats why i wanted to see if anyone else knows.. i never tried to figure the mph i jus knew i was at 5k in 5th ..and yes my foot was on the floor for what seemd liked a couple minutes

'87 5.0 should have .68 overdrive. .68 x 2.73 rearend ratio is 1.86 final drive. Your tire is approximately 24.86" tall. At 5000 rpms with zero clutch slippage or tire growth you should be doing almost 200 mph. All mustangs came from the factory with enough horsepower to push the car that fast, you're just one of the brave few to do it. Congratulations.
