stock style clutch packs work just fine if shimmed nice and tight, you can also install a Truck S-spring (larger vs stock mustang)

I have mixed opinions.

I got the standard kit in my 93 and it held strong for years. I never had any issues.

The Carbon kit is ok too in my 96, but it chattered for a lot longer when taking turns.

Luke is this normal? I have a friend that has a built rearend for sale but he told me that it also chatters for a lot longer when turning, and he said that was normal because he said he put aftermarket clutch packs.

It's normal when it's new.

Interestingly, I always have the standard kit chatter for a couple thousand miles. The Carbon kit chattered for like 10,000 miles! It just recently finally stopped.

Personally, I have never had any logetivity problems with the standard kit and would go with that if I needed to again.

I'd make sure to do the revised config alternating between the two sets of plates (rather than using the weaker OEM config which allows more slippage)
