Who tuned your car at TPS? Is Vince still there? I've thinking about taking my 91 GT over there once I get the mass air for my 42's.

I wouldn't allow anyone to touch my car but Vince at the shop and even then just having it sit there is at risk. I had some guy who worked there lay my midpipe next to the car then opened my driver door right into it. Also, I bought my vortech kit from them as a take off part, they threw all of it in a cardboard box which soaked everything in old nasty motor oil. Also the blower head unit was stripped and needed to be replaced by Vortech. Had a buddy of mine get his T56 installed in the shop, after I believe his TPS clutch failed he had AED fix it where Drew found that the bellhousing was installed with grade 0 bolts from a hardware store as well as a few missing bolts where it bolted to the motor. I have spoken with an employee who might be working there still who had no problem spilling all kinds of info that the scumbag owner has managed to keep behind closed doors. Also when Mike gives you a quote, don't be surprised if he ends up charging you more with fee's that he pulls out of his ass.

Everyone talks so bad about Mike a TPS. So can someone air it out there. What has he done that was so bad to cause him to relocate his shop and change the name??? I heard few stories but is it just bad business or is the guy more of a shady character? I know TPS is on this forum board as well. I'm sure they know there are plenty of members on here that are not to fond of them. So someone spill it [Big Grin]

saw your vid, that was Vince that did the tuning.

Alot of the crap Mike is taking a hit for is from the previous owners of the shop. And when he was defending himself everyone no one was grown up enough to sit down and look at the facts. Because of this he still takes the wrap for the previous folks that owned/ran the shop.

I had alot of my fox and cobra work done by them and they have always done a great job. They have even stepped up and fixed other shops junk tunes and work.

Where's the tech?

Let's see some before/after numbers. Know any details about the tune?

Thanks Manny....get that gas gauge fixed lol
In the past I know there was some type of beef with Mike or so.....but if and when you come here....you deal directly with me.
And for those asking....yes....Vince Rosegren(everybody knows Vince) tuned this car, and he does all the Ford tuning here. We also do alot of vettes here and those are tuned by Kris Perry.
TPS has been here for just over 4yrs.
There was alot of bad things going on with APEX Motorsports if some of you old schooler's can remember. After it was sold by Bill Kaiser....it changed hands 4 times before closing.
I dont know what the stories were or whatnot, but it closed down. The owner here sold it a year before it closed to 2 guys because he ran into some financial issues and family problems.
Once he landed on his feet he opened this place.
Now i'm not here trying to sugar coat anything or falsify info, but I too hear from people(especially this site for some reason) about issues of the past or by one of the owners or whatnot.
I just say what i've been telling everyone else....come down, check us out, talk with me, and we go from there. You wanna go elsewhere...by all means.
We have built a number of cars for people, in the FORD community, as well as the GM guys. Even Exotics.
Actually, there are a number of you guys on here that I see who have met me and have had work done.
If ever you have an issue, i'm always willing to correct it. I'm a standup guy.

Ok so TPS used to be Apex some 4 or 5 owners ago. Now all the negativity makes sense. I heard a few good things about TPS from some Vette guys at a car show within the last year. I 've had no experience with TPS but I'm glad to hear people are satisfied for the most part.

TPS is a good shop I've been around along time also guys. Jason the GM of the shop I've known a long time. I had bought a mach1 and no joke two days later everything went out the trans, rear end clutch blew up. Jason took damn good care if me. At first I was super upset I'm not going to lie I went back over to have some stuff looked at and Jason took care of me and re assured me that everything was good. I ended up spending 5,400 there. I could pull up right now and Jason and Vince would drop everything to make sure I was good. They are a really good shop. I love there TPS full Kevlar clutch. Good job Jason.

Hey Jay.

House & Job are really eating up time. Plus the garage is full of antique furniture so no place to store my fox. I need to get crackin, it's due for smog again. and there's a guy at work that specializes in custom work. He's going to help me do a brake swap & rebend my line in stainless.

You have a trailor I can use?
