Just curious as to what #'s everyone else with an N/A 347 has put down,weather it be RWHP or track times/trap speed..Also curious to see what heads/cam/intake setups others are running along with the #'s I'm looking for..I'm in the process of doing my own 347 and its my first stroker build..I'm hoping for low 12's, high 11's with my iron DOOE windsor heads,but def lookin for 10's on some spray and aluminum heads in the future....Like I said just trying to get some "real" world #'s from some local cats that have actually had experience rather than continue-ing to look @ mags and youtube vids I just hope it runs anywhere close to my 79' 351w Notch I built in 09..that bitch was violent
Current setup consist of a forged Scat 3.400 crank,Eagle h-beams,and Srp 9.8:1 forged slugs,comp 282hr cam (mmmmm that bumpstick sounds o so good )comp lifters/pushrods/rockers,and AFR springs on my windsor heads (only cut corner as of now,just don't got the $$ for a set of nice heads yet)and your typical upper/lower intake,injectors,maf,TB,longtubes,gears,clutch,yadda yadda yadda...u get the picture..just lmk what u fellas are doin with your 347 setups thanks [ February 02, 2011, 01:02 PM: Message edited by: SIC9250 ]

if you add 7 ci.. you know i run 10.5's @ 125 all day na.... and i only made 430whp on a dyno jet..

Looks like my notch haha...he got it to hook at the end...looked beefy and sounded real nice.

That Nothcback in the video is a THR car...(Texas Hot Rod) They build some NASTY foxes..check them out on youtube..that calypso green coupe idling on the rack with the doors,hood,and trunk open has the same 282 cam I do...his car just has A LOT of comp.

NA 347 10.4/1 compression
AFR 185 lightly cleaned up. 190ish cc 286 cfm at .500
244/240 .576/.550ish 108 LSA 110 ICL hi-tech custom cam
Edelbrock Performer RPM port matched to heads
BBK 1 3/4 headers 3" Dr. Gas X pipe
75mm TB/ 80 MAF/ Anderson NA powerpipe
42 lb injectors/Autologic chip with 26 total timing on 91 octane gas
That's the core of the parts
347- 11.38@124.5- 1.72 60ft on nittos 424rwhp, 416.1 rwtq
car was 3450 with me in it.

I'm VERY impressed with these numbers,with that MPH and a better 60ft and real slicks that's a 10sec car bro...keep up the good work!

Thanks, but sold the car 7 years ago to buy a house New project is a stock blocked 185k 302 into the 11's.

yea i got everything ready just gotta weld on the moroso header evac kit i got , and drop the tank to put in the new pump and fingers crossed she'll come alive with no problems.

sick i got a similar combo. different cam (still custom from high tech) and 9.1 comp. you car is moving. mine feels like a slug hahaha

yea i was on street tires. I'm a good driver i know that. ill be out again in a few weeks with slicks. hoping for vary low 12's high 11's.

I ran two hci combos on my 347 n/a
The first one I wasn't happy with at all. 10.5:1 c/ratio forged internal stock block bottom end Edelbrock performer rpm 2.02 1.60 heads TFS R intake TFS stage 2 cam 30# injectors 73 mm Maf and 75mm TB Bbk 1 3/4 LTs w/ off road x and flowmaster catback
This setup dynoed 365/380 and went 12.1 at 116 but drove like a turd. Cam reverb like a mother.
I switched out to afr 185s box stock as well as victor 5.0 intake box stock 44# injectors a custom cam Shaun at AED drew up and for my life can't remember the specs. 1.6/1.7 split duration roller rockers. 75 mm maf with AFM powerpipe. I never dynoed it but I went 11.52@124. I didn't keep it long enough to play with suspension or timing and fuel at all. Oh and I ditched the flows for bullets. Car ran like. Top though. If it wasn't so loud I could have daily driven it

My old ass 347 was 10.1 tea 185 tw heads a pos cam Holley intake 42 lb injector 1 3/4 low tubes with ture three inch exhaust 3.73 rear end it went 12.2 at 116mph with a 1.9 60ft basically on some crappy street drag bs radials. That car Was real fun to drive and the top end hp was amazing. It made 360rwhp and 380rwtq if i remember right. It made the same hp and from 5k to redline real fun car i miss that lx
