I just discovered that 1 of my motor mounts is cracked. So I'm going to pick up a new set. What advantages does Polyurethane have over rubber? Is it worth it. Can you feel the difference?

Thanks

Well, a couple things...

Poly is harder so it will transfer a bit more NHV to the chassis compared to rubber. Also, poly mounts are known for raising the engine which is sometimes not desireable depending on the intake manifold you are using or if you are running an intake spacer.

If I recall, the Prothane mounts raise the motor a bit higher than Energy Suspension.

The most desirable mounts are the OEM 93vert V8 mounts.
