its amazing that these cars attract the utmost professional down to the ghetto-est people alive. no wonder this site is absolute comedy. i blame it on 5.0s being so cheap too. i ask the people selling these 5.0s to ask 10k minimum! just so income tax time some moron cant pick one up and join cafords. so let me break this down.
First generation (1964½–1973)
seems like the old "skoos" have a pretty diverse following. although the mexicans seem to love the 71-73s
alot of people in oakland keep 65-66s pretty clean and its good to see these cars getting love. also they rock 225 tires with stroker motors. it takes a unique man to tread these waters because you need to know how to fix shit on the fly and get dirty sometimes. its an old school Second generation (1974–1978)
hey the brothas love these things. ive seen these cars taken pretty good care of and have yet to see one in worse condition then some beat ass 5.0s GOLD spokes are a must.
Third generation (1979–1993)
well here is where everything went fucking right and wrong. ford was saved because this is the best mustang for the buck and is still the tuners dream. but little did we know that as soon as CHP drove one it would become a FUCKING LEGEND! seems like 95% of these cars still sport an original motor. most commonly posted as a "cobra motor" with 65k original miles.
all you need here is a tax return and you can make one of these the most dangerous car you have ever driven next to. everyone has or had one. the melting pot of mustang diversity!
Fourth generation (1994–2004)
now this one is tough. the SN years attract the "I want a lexus quality interior over a fox body" and end up with the worst 5.0 engine made. so ford answered that with adding the slowest 4.6 equipped mustang ever made. but cheap fuckers can swap lights and hoods and fool anyone its a fire breathing DOHC.
new edge mustangs brought some life back into the world. who would of thought that removing cats off a 250hp GT could be so fucking loud.
thank god for the 03-04 cobras. these guys have their own forums because the sure dont want to be associated with us common folk. dont dare put a different OEM ford rim on these. unless the rim costs more then a foxbody your looked down upon.
Fifth generation (2005–Present)
midlife crisis or i always wanted an old mustang but cant fix shit on the fly line right up. about the solidest mustang built. you can jack one of these up and still open the god damn doors.

If it wasnt for the 79-93 fox body the mustang would be dead.
And to me, in 1993 the mustang did die.

I agree, foxbodies ftw. Everything after 93 sucks except for maybe the 2011 and after but i havent driven one yet to confirm. They seem sterile after 93, even if they are faster they dont have the same level of excitement as even a 225 HP fox, lol.

If you slow down and read you will see that is under the SN listing. Which mean the 96 gt is the slowest 4.6 now go breath into a paper bag

2011+ GT> all. When these cars drop to the mid to upper teens in a couple years, These will be the best bang for the buck you can get. Slap a blower on and have 550+ without breaking the motor or transmission open FTW.

I would consider 96-98 Mustangs a whole different generation from a 99-04. [ August 11, 2012, 03:02 PM: Message edited by: 50DADDY ]

That made me laugh.
I still can get past the fact that every coupe on the road, the owner usually will tell you it's a CHP. On top of that I can't seem to figure out why people who HATE cops...... Want to put the spot lights on their coupe
I just can't wait till CHP discontinues the camero to see the new wave of LS1 bruh's running around jacking the price up on another beat up service vehicle. [ August 11, 2012, 02:52 PM: Message edited by: Slowback67 ]
