Did some changes to both my AR and 870.
Added a scope for semi long distance shot and a red dot on top of it for some CQB. I also threw a 150 lumens light and laser into the mix.
As far as the 870 I added a 6 way (m4 style) stock. Barrel shround, Picatinny rail forgrip a decent 100 lumen light. a rail scope mount so I could mount the red dot electronic sight with laser. oh and lets not forget the extra shell casing holders and mag tube extension.

Next up will be ordering a flip up front sight to match the rear ones and removing the fixed post front on the AR.
....and I might do some rifle sights on the 870 as back up if the electronics went DOA. [ September 11, 2010, 02:21 AM: Message edited by: Fostang ]

Neither of those optics would fit in the rack of our cars. My rifle is so short I have to go muzzle down to fit. I went with a Colt 6940 and eotech 512.
Adamsons in Hayward hooks it up prices!

I have rifle sights on my 870P and don't like them. It's much harder to get on target quick, ghost rings are better.

You can never have too many sights it's for back ups because electonic sights do fail.
Plus like sideways said it's all tax deductable

sounds like police officers from the "rack in the car" hopefully. What scope is on the ar15? I have flip iron sites now but want something like an eotek or an aimpoint for fun.
