I have recently started building scale models again myself - I freakin' love this hobby. Especially since I sold my Fox a few years back. I've already dropped about $300 on kits and paint in the last year or so. I tried to buy up all of the '93 Cobra kits from ebay HAHA - and even scored a Tamiya '95 Cobra R model! Here's the kit I just got done with...so many mods done to this one...I basically combined a '93 Cobra with the Super Stallion concept car SVT did back in the day.

Thanks guys - the whole reason I started back up was because now I've got the patience to actually do it right - and not rush through it. The results are MUCH better LOL
73 on DUBS - I think having a contest would be dope! We can set an agreed end date and then post pics. I'm down!
CHUGGNBREW'Z - found a bunch of them on ebay. Revell produces that kit but its been discontinued. You can still find a bunch of Mustang models on ebay. It adds up quick watch out lol

That'll be a hobby I'll take up when my nephews are old enough! Some of my buddies are pretty hardcore with their r/c - fun stuff though!!!

tmaxx's are always broken.
Me and 4 guys from work recently picked up some traxxas slash 2wd eletric trucks used, around $75-$85 for each one ready to go with radios, ordered some 2 and 3 cell lipo batteries from hobbyking.com in China for about $15/battery, got the $23 accucel-6 balance lipo chargers.
Things run 48mph with the 3 cell 3000mah batteries for about 20 minutes, and 30mph with the 2 cell 5000mah batteries for damn near an hour per charge.
