Doesn't matter if you listen to Nas, Lil Wayne, Drake, Pac, Jay Z, Kanye, Brotha Lynch Hung, or Keak Da Sneak, you gotta respect the creativity in this song. Even if your not a fan of Nas, you can't possibly hate on this cut. If you are a long time Nas fan, this song is probably classic to you...

yea this is a CLASSIC! i remember doing a report/presentation on this song in HS for a creative writing class.....didnt really care too much about the class but how many times do you get to play some Nas shit in class while the teach is sittin there nodding his head!!! ![[dance]](graemlins/dance.gif)

Nobody can tell a story like Nas. Who else could right a song with a backwards story, or rap about being a gun?
This is another ill story IMO. The beat is very repetitive, but the way he tells the story like he is "the gun" is just ridiculous...

Yup, Nas is my fav of all time, but alot of times, he has too much filler on his recent albums. He needs to come with another strong album from start to finish like Illmatic. I can listen to that album all the way through.

Yeah no problem...I guess a weird variety. Eazy E, Eminem, Tech n9ne,mac dre, too short, andre nikatina,just to name a few....I listened to it again the lyrics aren't bad just didn't have me head nodd'n i dunno

Thats all good stuff. See if you listen closely to the nas rewind track, he is telling the whole story backwards. I guess, I just dig rappers that make you think little rather than just talking about how they are "the greatest", or what color their Aston martin is, or how many beezies they have LOL... Don't get me wrong, Nas has songs like that too, but he gets pretty deep as well.

Honestly, I listened to rap up until about a year after Mac Dre died, and the bay got waaaayy too much attention and some of these (IMHO) garbage rappers got famous... I like E-40, and Andre Nickatina and Messy Marv are dope... but I can't stand many others...
