I just want to see how 20's fit on a mustang, specifically an SN95. I know what you guys are all thinking, bling bling cheesy shit...but I found some bad ass wheels in 20" and just want to see how they fit inside the wheel wells...please post up pics if you have some.
You think these look too big? These aren't the wheels I want, but they are 20's

i think u can pull it off as long as u choose some premium wheels and dial in the stance. there is a lot of hate for bigger wheels cuz most often than not theyre represented by some el cheapo 1k w/ tires special wheels from gordo's wheel house. personally i like 19s cuz they fill a nice medium but u end up paying the price by not having a good selection.

Thanks Alex...the difference between 20" and 19" is pretty obvious. I didnt think it'd look too much larger in diameter but by looking at this cobra, the 20's look a lot bigger than the 19's. I think that if the wheels are tucked in a little more it'll look better in the rear. If I do go this route you know what rim I'd be going with and they're definitley not no cheap $1000 wheels

Ian you might be able to pull it off on YOUR CAR because the saleen side skirts and rear bumper make the car look lower. Thus making the big wheels show less. However if your going to run 20's the stance needs to be PERFECT as the right amount of weel to fender gap will be critical in making or breaking the look. To achieve that your definitely gonna need to roll your fenders and have coil-overs or another method of adjusting the suspension up or down. I'm assuming your going for a pro touring look with the large wheels on a lowered car tucked into the fenderwell. Unless you really just wanna get hyphy.. hyphy... hyphy........

No just those pics took them before I sold the car but I kept the wheels another thing is that the wheel you pick also makes a big difference on how the wheel sits on the car also my 97' had eibach sportlines on it also to sit 2" lower to make it look right

T... With my Saleen kit I think it'd look and fit better than if I were to slap some dubs on a regular GT. My makes the body look a little bulkier and should, hopefully, allow the 20's to look right. I'm not really looking for a pro-touring look exactly, but I was hoping it'd still look aggressive without the rims being tucked too much. I plan to run h&r race springs (red) to bring the car down a little and I have adjustable rear LCA's so I can mess with the rake using that.

Hmmmm. Well yeah man if you got a vision then id go for it. You've shown to be good at pulling a car together to look right. If you don't like it then just sell the wheels. Luckily the springs and other suspension parts you purchase would all work perfect with a set of 18-19 inch wheels also.
Only concern is the added unsprung weight and rotating mass your adding to the car. Being that your a twisties advocate it might slow ya down a little. Most time is spent cruising tho so it shouldn't be much of a problem
