Some of you know I was recently making a pretty big decision on whether or not to get out of the Air Force and go to school full time, or stay in and make the best of it. Decided to stick it out, I put in for a base of preference a while back and it came back approved, So I'm headed back west. The thing that influenced my decision the most was my daughter, and the new GI bill.. If you put in 10 years of service, you can transfer the benefits to your kids.. So I'll try my best to take as many classes while I'm active duty to work toward a degree while also putting in my time so that I can transfer the gi bill to my daughter so she can go to school in the future. Seems like a good decision long term wise, and I'm finally getting a Cobra as a re enlistment gift to myself Away from North Carolina, as cool as it's been here it's finally time to move on.. Headed to Tucson, AZ coming soon. It will be nice to finally be closer to home, and somewhere nice... Might make it to some meets pretty often, even though it's about a 13 hour drive to Sac. But my daughter needs to see family soon so I'll try and plan it around a few meets coming up.

What do you do in the AF?
The benefits are worth staying in for your daughters sake. Smart choice man!

Sheetmetal, pretty cool job, Not the best job I can think of but there's ALOT of crappier jobs. I enjoy it for the most part, some days are worse than others but it's pretty legit.
