Quick question, can paint go bad if stored for a long time?
I ask because I can get a helluva steal on some black paint, problem is that the guys had it sitting in his garage for 2-3 years.
He bought it but then sold his fox before he could paint it leaving it un-opened for a while.

Its a urethane based paint? Not the waterbase, not sure on the brand.
How long does it take to go bad? 2? 3 years or something like 20????

I've heard that if it freezes repeatedly then yeah it can go bad but its just in a garage, non heated garage.

Well I would have to buy it in order to take to you and I wouldn't want to buy if its bad, thanks for the offer bro.
How could I tell just by looking at it?
Would it be obvious or would somebody that knows wasup have to look at it?
Thanks

So I went to the paint shop and they said that uethane based paint generally has about 1 year shelf life until it starts to go bad, so no go on the 3 yr old black paint.
Dam I guess I should use that performance red paint I've had sitting in the garage for the last 5 months
