I was cleaning up my engine bay and was reading other posts of people who had done the same. I noticed that not everyone, was able to weld and fill in all the holes in the engine bay. I ended up hiding my wires and such but there is an area that needed attention after I relocated my battery. The area that looks like a valley or tray. Its 20"x2". Its on either side of the engine bay and it just stares at me, looking empty and with no use at all. Usually I put my tools there, but with my new paint job I'm hesitant to cause I don't want to mess up the paint. What do you guys think of a mat that goes in that area?
It should be heat resistant to a pretty high temp..like 200*, and of course oil/gas/solvent as well.
How much would you pay for it?
