Topic: Started my first Ar15 Build - Just got the lower after 10 day period!

Well I picked my Stag-15 OLL today, and had the guys at Irvington arms assemble the lower with a cheap buttstock/buffertube, Stag LPK, 10rd Mag and a Bullet Button.
First build with no upper yet, so everything is just basic until I upgrade

how much did you pay for the lower out the door? PM if you don't want to post it.

The lower is a Stag 15.
Stag 15-OLL - 225 OTD with FFL fee Stag Lower Parts Kit - 90 Buttstock/Buffer tube - 85 Mag - 10 BulletButton (to be CA legal) 25 Assembly was 35

Where did you get the bullet button? I have the Ruger sr-556 ar-15 and i need to get it installed

Irvington Arms in Fremont.
Those guys have a big selection of OLL AR-15/AK/Sig type firearms, and are super helpfull.

have not ket up with CA firearm laws for the past few years. what is a bullet button? and whats its function?

Bullet button replaces the detachable magazine release. It requires a tool (california law states that you need a tool to remove the magazine to count as a "fixed" magazine)to stick into a hole to pop the magazine out. This makes it CA Legal, along with your Off List Lower receiver (these are NOT on the assault weapons ban list). With these two mode, and 10 round mags, you can have a CA legal AR.
