I would have made a u turn and recorded more
A few years back some guy crashed a stang onto a center divide, I drove by hella times recording, haha he said "it's for sale" haha

The fact that it was caught on tape so clearly makes me think its a stunt. But I can't imagine what the upside was?

People keep saying its fake but I don't think so. The crash was real, it was all over the legit news sites and you see the car crash into the same spot all the pics show it sitting. Another thing, why would they drop the camera down toward the end? Just looks too real but then again, who the hell knows.

This video is 100% authentic. My sister is a news anchor for ABC in Houston, and they covered this story. Their photographers were there in person when they pulled it out of the swamp.
The owner of the car owns an exotic car shop in Houston, and plans to rebuild the car.

Of course it's real in the sense that the car crashed into the lake. I don't think anyone is questioning that...
But what people are questioning is whether it was staged...
Again, I have no clue what the upside is to "planning" this kind of stunt given the value of the car, but it looks staged to me.
