I was wondering if anyone here has any feedback about any transport company. I might have to have a car transported to Quebec, Canada. Is there even any that is local to the greater bay area? Thanks for any help ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

I had a car shipped from MN here to CA and I used Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS)
They were way cheaper than anyone else, but I had to drop the car off at a terminal and pick it up at another terminal. I saved a lot of money doing it that way though.
They also aren't the fastest since your car goes to their terminals until they have a full truck going to deliver. It took about 2 weeks for mine to show up at their terminal in Fremont..I think it ended up costing me about $550 [ July 29, 2009, 12:00 AM: Message edited by: username1822 ]

Not too keen about the car sitting on the terminal where there's a potential that the car might get damaged/stolen maybe both, but that seem like a good deal though. Do you know if the car was driven down the off the truck at any point between MN and CA?

The terminals are like tow yards, they are secured and safe.
I do believe that the car was pulled off the original truck and put on another truck at one of the terminals.

My brother and I have both used Intercity Lines a few times now. They are very professional, only use nice enclosed trucks, and are reasonable on price. They only ship door to door, so your car will not sit at a terminal, etc. When they dropped my car off here in the bay area, the truck was full of german and italian exotics. Here is their website, they have an easy quote request that takes 24 hours.
