no one can beat lesner... not even fedor! his size,speed,strength,and yes skill is too much for fedor to handle. fedor is prolly the best pound for pound but the weight difference is too much. fedor should really be a 205er not heavyweight.

I dont know about that. The one good punch Mir got in dazed him and then he got in on the ground and laid on top of him. I thin if you find some one to keep it off the ground he will not be able to with stand it.

I absolutey cannot believe the amount of people on various forums that are giving this fight to Lesnar. Probably the same clowns who were hyping Kimbo before he got KO'd with a left jab from a pink haired homosexual.
The guy is a big strong inexperienced galoot. while Fedor is world class. He's beat everyone put in front of him in spectacular fashion.
30-1! With the only loss being a technicality that stopped the fight.
Get real gentlemen.

Thank you ..finally someone who really paid attention to the fight..the few seconds mir and lesnar went shoulders..mir was picking him apart..and yea brock stuck to the game plan.but he would have gotten rocked if he wud have kept it standing..like mir said all he has is one punch ...his right straight..other than that anyone with sick stand up and. Unfortunately many of Fedor's fights end up on the ground. He doesnt have the best take down defense in the world. Mir has great takedown defense and got taken down at will.
If lesnar stood with anyone it would be a mistake. Its like asking Royce Gracie to stand and go toe to toe with someone. Brock will use his skill set, witch is freakish power + speed + isane wrestling, to dominate people on the ground - aka Matt Hughes, Mark Coleman, GSP, Koschek, Sean Sherk.
The whole argument of "OMG if brock stands with anyone he is gonna get KTFO!!!!" is fucking ignorant.
Look what happened to Sean Sherk in his last two fights when he tried to do the macho stand and fight routine. Sherk is a wrestler and needs to stick to where he is bets.
Its not Lesnar's fault that people have no defense for his wrestling and cant get back to there feet. Instead of saying man I wish Lesnar wouldnt lay on top of him, you should be saying, MAN I WISH MIR had better wrestling and takedown defense.

What are we gonna say if lesnar wins? We can talk bad about him but he has not been in that many MMA fights and is doing good( better then kimbo )

Sure he is the heavyweight champ, but he's unproven to me and fighting in a lackluster weight class in the UFC.
I don't think he deserves to fight Fedor yet.
Give him a few more names, hell give him Kimbo even ![[Wink]](wink.gif) , and let him work maybe 3-4 more fights leading to Fedor.

I think he should fight tim sylva..lately he's been in a loosing streak..but I think it would be a nice match up..or cain velasquez .he looked solid against congo and ko'd him..and barnett of course ..if he gets past those three he deserves a shot at fedor...fedor trains in russia in the wilderness he's like rocky but like 10× sicker.. that dude has like 200 somethng fights under his belt the only one that trails him is randy with like 190 somethng..

Fedor is gonna beat lesnars ass hands down. I like lesnar and i thihnk he deserves his title, but How many of you guys have seen Fedors brutal beatings? i dont think lesnar will survive, no matter how big he is.

I watched that Kimbo fight a few times. I thnk dude just did the spider monkey, but Kimbo was far from KO'd IMO. He was caught off guard by the spider monkey tactic. I dont think his whiskers have been tested yet.
Just curious why some of you guys dont like Lesnar? Is it because he was on WWF? He is the champ and beat a quality guy convincingly right?

I have nothing against Lesnar, I actually like him. I didnt at first, but he has improved his game 10 fold. Lesnar has not gotten an ounce of respect because he was handed a title shot so soon, when other guys were in line. While fucked up yes, the UFC is a business and him getting a title shot was a business move. Cant blame Brock for wanting to make money. If someone goes "Hey you want a title shot" your not going to say no. I say dont hate lesnar, hate dana white (but only a little since it was a very smart business move).
As for Kimbo - I liked him too, he was working super hard to move up, but same thing, they overhyped him and pushed him to fast into things. Only thing is Brock succeded, Kimbo dint. I cant wait to see Kimbo on Tuff.
People only seem to look at Brock's WWE carreer and forget how good of a wrestler he was. Its not like Brock was some chump off the street. All of his win's have been by dominating fashion, and people who accuse him of lay and pray are fucking retarded...just look at Mir's face and the point will be made.

Oh I know - Fedor wants some crazy things done to fight in the UFC. He wants guaranteed contracts for other Red Devil fighters, he wants a gauranteed venue in Russia for a fight. He wants UFC to do one show with M1.
