Thinking about taking my kids, because they never been to a drive in. But if they are anything like the drive ins when I was young it really wouldnt be a family place...lol
OPinions?

Yeah I have been. Never had a bad experience. Usually abunch of kids running around the concession & arcade. They even got some janky looking swngs. Good times man.
Honestly I would recommend just u and the wife go & grab some of those vaigra from blown67 ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

They don't have speakers anymore, everything is sent out through crappy radio signals so most movies have a constant buzzing noise...... They actually made it sound worse than those tiny 3 watt speakers! The picture quality was crap, no joke, I downloaded a camcorder copy off the Internet that looked better than when I saw it at the drive in. You might go for the experience, just don't expect to be happy with the quality.

Yea we went last night and it was pretty crappy. Hella run down. Kids enjoyed it. It looked abandoned when we drove up. Actually kids thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. And didnt wanna believe that was the main movie mode when I was a youngster. Like we shouldnt have had cool stuff when I was a kid ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

You went for the kids to have the experience, as long as they enjoyed it that's all that mattered. I remember going there as a kid and I loved it.... maybe it was all run down and crappy then and I was a kid so I didn't notice. Your right though, it does look abandoned with all the weeds growing around and the building is beat down. Oh well, you all had fun.

I went last year to my first drive in San jose and I really enjoyed it . The place looked clean and the radio signal sounded good .

We used to go back in high school all the time. That was 11 years ago, and the rumor back then was that it was closing. I remember the last time I went. The rent-a-cops jacked our booz and we never went back LOL
There is a banner that says "Still Open" on the back of one of the screens. I don't know why they don't put some money into it and renovate the place. It cant cost that much.

Next week on the 26th their is a big ride out to see transformers at the concord drive in tkt only $10 bucks!! I rolled their on the last ride out to see fast & the furious & it was bad ass. This one should be even bigger. Some brought their whole family, kids , chicks. what ever but it was fun N8 you should roll this time.
