i always thought super 44's were louder, i had a trust worthy shop tell me the same.. but when i called around for price quotes, a shop in hayward said theyre the same exact thing, but the super 44's have a different/ stronger casing. now, i dont know if the shop was just tryna sell off all his 40's at the time, because he kept insisting i get 40's.. or if he was telling me the truth.
i still think 44's are much louder! but it might just be my mind playing tricks... i say f*ck it bro, might as well get the 44's they cost the same.. i called and checked for you, 340 out the door @ Ron's Berkeley Muffler Service..
check this place out, i took my 5.0's out here before, and my brother took his 07gt, and these people been around for i think 15+ yrs. quality work! look for abby, (510) 655-6833. tell her mitch told you about the place.

Wit the slp's u can juss get the resonators and ull b good..I say u get them..and the superr44 are louder than the 40 is a smaller casing I think is smaller by like 3"..I had them in my 50 with a o\r h pipe..they sound good..but them slp's r bad ass bro..I juss sold my super 44 for 100 ..my boy still hasn't used them if u want them ill ask if he wants to sell em..

just buy the loudmouths 1 off American muscle for 140 , get them welded to your cat back you have now .
Or if you like the sound dyno max race bullets , their only 40 bucks each . They sound sweet 2
