So I get home from work about an hour ago and the first thing I did was get the mail. So I look through it and I see something from the California DMV.
Didn't think too much of it, so I open it up and see it is the registration renewal for my daily driver. I look at the dollar amount and think, "Cool, its't too bad. When is it due?"
Then I see this:
What? It's due TODAY! Man maybe it got lost in the mail. I wonder when they sent it.
Then look at the FEEs!
I know California is in a little financial trouble but man! This is just straight up dirty!
Luckily I can pay it online, which im about to do.

fuckers just got me for $163 i was 3 months late tried to explain my car was down for almost 6 months....i paid the $163 and they wouldnt give me my tags i got to fax my insurance in for that now. ![[BS flag]](graemlins/bs_flag.gif)

you know you can probably pay that on the DMV website. http://dmv.ca.gov/ If you aren't able to this late at night i'd definitely call in and complain. that's totally BS!

I got a fee for not needing smog on my 2-year old Civic!
If you do need smog you have to pay to test and pay to get your tags, if you don't need smog they still give you a fee!
