So I've been thinking of maybe putting one of those GPS trackers on my car seeing how more and more are disappearing. Has anybody done this? To be honest I am a little confused about them and am not sure which ones to pick. I've seen them for as cheap as about $60 all the way up to $500, some you have to pay a monthly charge, and most the batteries only last a week. Even if it costs me a couple hundred dollars its well worth not loosing everything off of my car. Does anyone have any good suggestions of which one to go with?

why u don't try LoJack? You pay but they do the maintenance and it should lower your insurance making it work for you.
