I went 373's in mine and I loved it. Get the speedo gear too tho

steeda has ur speedo gears. i got 3.73's in mine recently, but wish i got 3.55's instead cause i like cruising the open freeways at 80+. if u drive a lot on the freeway i'd suggest 3.55's. if street/strip for sure 3.73's & up

Oh yeah steeda has the speedo gear...Yeah bro I dont really drive it on the freeway I mostly drive it on the street...So you think I should go with 373's??? I am looking for some gears for the street...

Most people go with 355's with a manual and 373'a with an auto. Won't be much of a differance between the 2 IMO & either one will wake the car up!

I just recently had gears installed on my coupe. It's basically stock 5spd with pulleys, headers, and exhaust. The only difference is that I did 4.10's. And I have no regrets Its a whole different car now....

I've had both in my 89 and I get 25mpg highway at 2500rpm (75mph) with 3.73's vs 24mpg highway at 2200rpm (75mph) with 3.55's
same trip, same driving (cruise control, freeway from norcal-socal).
I prefer the 3.55's, the 5.0 runs out of rpm's too fast. I didn't really notice that until I started driving my DOHC `97 more. The `97 is getting 4.30's in a couple of weeks though ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)

DAMN! I got stock 2.73s in my auto SSP! It doesnt even wake up till i hit 80!! Its a dog but HELLA good on gas!!

im running 355's and love it, i track race my car so its nice having the better acceleration over the stock 273's i had but i can still cruise at 70-75 on the freeway, and yes make sure you get the speedo gear its 10 dollars and takes about 3 minutes to install
