I got some family visiting from Texas for thanksgiving weeked, 2 of my cousins are 21+ were are some places I can take them in the bay? I wanna make a trip to Alcatraz and to other tourist attractions. What are someplaces that would impress you if you were comming from outta state?

If there into science type stuff, check out the new Academy of Sciences in SF. That place is badass.

Ha Ha, Ya show them the hyphy part of town!!!
Really though, you can also take them to Muir woods and show em tha trees. Cable cars, Lombard Street and Ghirardelli ice cream.

After Alcatraz, take them to Fiddlers Green for a pint. It's a cool place, and if my man Sabbath is playing downstairs, you'll have a great time.

that place is badass , my company help build that place.
My company I worked for also help do some structrual repairs at Alcatraz. I don't wanna stay in one place too long, I know I can easaliy spend the whole day in the city so I'd like to see as many places as I can ,don't really wanna spend all day in a bar/pub/lounge during the day.
Keep the ideas comming anything other then San fransico?

If its close family.
Id do something like :
Take them to a nice restraunt first to eat..
Id get a Limo, a tour of the city in the Limo is off the hook. (Lombard, Broadway, FInancial District, buildings etc etc)
IMAX 3D for movies.
Next following day (sunny day) --> Take them to Twean Peaks for sight seeing, then Golden Gate Bridge, Take them downtown shopping at the malls, ChinaTown for a tour.
Pier 39 and grab some Alcatraz / Angel Island Tickets and make them get on the boat for a trip down there.
Zoo/Musuem would be AIIGHHTTT - Thats just me hahah
Thats just San Francisco..
I know i wouldve taken my family to L.A / DIsney/ Hollywood, Universal, Vegas, Canyons etc etc

limo?? im not trying to spend that much money on them! plus when i went to texas to visit them on fourth of july the only place they took me to was Wal-Mart! that place was big as hell !! you could fit infenion race way inside of a texas walmart.
so far for sure im gonna do

cable cars
china town(my girlfriends chinese)
im sure she'll see a sideshow whiles shes here their plenty of kids in my hood with "supped up fiftys"

If you plan on going to Alcatraz you better buy the tickets in advance, they usually sell out a couple days ahead.

If you're gonna be in Frisco, take a drive down to the end of Broadway, towards the Presidio- right where it dead ends, there's a hell of a view there that looks down on the bay, and all the cool older mansions there are something to see. From there, you could head down towards the bay and take a look around, or turn left towards the entrance to the golden gate- there's an old gift shop and some stuff on how the bridge was built.
