Looks like Im getting a 4 door Mustang. Anyone ever seen an LTD LX? I love fox body Stangs but its too hard to stick the kids in the back. So this is a good option. The wheelbase is only 5 inches longer then a fox Stang. This should be fun. http://www.ltdlx.org/history.html

Nope, but this one does. They came with the cfi 1984 /1985 Mustang 302. Only 3260 of these for 84/85. I think they are kind of cool. My Wagon will be a better sleeper though...... [ October 16, 2008, 05:38 PM: Message edited by: TR1 ]

Actually, Tony, I read the link you sent and it specifically says that the motor was a HO motor. It is just that it was fitted with CFI, from what I read.
and I quote:
"Just like Bondurant's trainer car, the LTD LX featured a 5.0 HO engine (not available on other LTDs except police) and seriously upgraded suspension, although the 5.0 was mated with CFI induction and an AOD automatic trans, "

LTD w/ 5.0 swaps go on CL once in awhile. I've seen one for $6k smogged thought it was kinda expensive.
Put an S-trim on it and you got a V8 4-door that can haul the kids to school pretty quick!
I wonder what happened to Carajo's 5.0 Wagon..
