man tell me about it. And he floored Calzaghe in the first round. I was kinda looking forward to a B-hop RJJ fight. But B-hop would mop RJJ up.
Zab looked weak as well. Man boxing is going bad real quick. We nee to see some more chad dawson and margaritos. Too many old dudes holding all the purse strings.

Zab is a fighter that never lived up to his potential. In hindsight Roy Jones reminds me alot of Prince Naseem. Think about that one real hard and see if you can fighure out their connection. Calzagne beat an over the hill Roy Jones and eeked by B-hop although I had it about a draw with b-hop may eeking it out by one point. Calzagne has really never done anything to impress me although I do think he is a pretty good fighter. Chad dawson would knock the earth, wind and fire out of Calslappy

I tell you what!! Boxing has fell off so much almost every retired fighter from Jones Jr to George Foreman has made a late come back because their even tired of watching the no names fight on t.v, So they figure I can do better than that & sorry but you cant anymore!!! LoL I hope we get a new young talent that can knock fools out like Tyson used to do!! So you guys continue to order it on t.v & I will watch it free at your house because its not worth any kind of money anymore!!!

Their are still some good matchups out their to be made with some younger fighters. I would not say boxing totally sucks. Just the Heavyweights!

I agree, Calzage never showed me much either. He did whip Kessler whom I thought he would lose to. And taking on RJJ was safe, tho I thought he would lose very quick. I dont see the corelation to Naseem, although it can be said he fought as station attendants as he rose through the ranks (like they say about RJJ). No one liked his style (like RJJ). And he was never the same after being bludgeoned by barrera (like RJJ by Tarver and Glen J).

It was a shame to see him get hit with punches that would have missed him by at least 10 inches about 6 years ago.

I don't make my living as a professional boxer so I don't see your point. I happen to think I would last more than 30 seconds though if that makes you feel better. In the light heavyweight picture Roy Jones is not really a contender anymore and never will be. I happen to be a fan of his but he should just hang em up

He has 8 TITLES an no I dought you would last 30 seconds in the ring with him I been trainins since I was 8 An there is no way in hell I would last 30 seconds !!!! Im just saying he's no bum.... He just isnt the unstopable un-human like he was!!!

I would hate to say it, but it would be extremely difficult to stay up-right for even 30 secs against these guys (especially Roy). Did you see how he decked Calzaghe in the first round? And he is trained and world class. I have been boxing for quite a few months now. And I sparred with a golden gloves amateur not too long ago. And I can say he was amazingly fast and kicked like a mule. This was at would be a cruiser-weight if it had been real. But these guys are good. I am pretty sure Roy would floor me rather quickly. But I could clinch for a good 30 secs.

THANK YOU just needed somebody that has training experience!!! It is nothing like throwing blows on the streets these guys are machines an fighting is all they know!!!

Roy Jones currently has NO titles and has not held one for 5 years. Right now Roy is not a factor in ANY weight class in Boxing. Ya know I can hold and move for 30 secs no problem. I have had some training. I never said i could beat him

I am 60% confident I could do a combination of holding running for 30 secs. But that other 40% could get real, real quick...lol. But I am pretty athletic myself so to sell myself short on 30 secs, esecially if I can hug the hell out of him, I can't do. But to stand there and trade blows like a real match. Nah... I have to admit I will have my favorite blanket, pillow and fuzzy slippers available.

In case you did not know clinching and MOVING is part of boxing! I know that I am no professional fighter and I will NEVER get in the ring with Roy nor will I ever be able to beat him. (on second thought I might be able to kick his ass when he is 50 or so LOL) I said in the light heavyweight picture ROY JONES is NOT a factor. His time has come and passed I doubt he could beat Any of the top 5 light heavyweights in the world right now. I would like to see him retire with some dignity rather than live off his name and become a stepping stone ala Holyfield.
Roy is just a shell of his former self. his reflexes and speed are pretty much gone. Roy was never a classic "boxer" he was just Extremely athletic and lightning quick. Ever since he lost that 25lbs of muscle from being a heavyweight he has struggled. after getting KTFO by Tarver he was never the same because his confidence was shot! He is scared to get hit and scared to let his hands go. Beating up on a fat trinidad does not count and neither does beating Anthony Hanshaw and prince Badju or whatever the hell his name is.
