Topic: Credit unions for loans on used cars older than 10 years old?

I'm looking for a credit union that will do a loan for a vehicle more than 10 years old. Seems like all of them have a cut off at that age. Anybody have any good references?

92_chp, what was your APR? Couple of the places I went to had over 12% for personal loans ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

old cars are hold to finance and usually will always have a higher rate.

4.5 % wifes car
6.9 % for my bike...no I think it's 8.9 for the bike. Can't remember other than it was the lowest around at the time.

patelco got me a 9% rate when everyone else said they would go no lower then 15%.
