lowell, try this site: http://www.transportreviews.com/
you can read reviews on different autocarriers. i went with cavinnes auto transport brokers. paid to ship a civic from SF to NY for only $800, which was the lowest at the time. the reviews are kinda misleading for this one particular company as all the complaints were about estimated pickups and deliveries. as long as you're flexible in regards to that id go with them. other carriers were charging 900-1300. *edit: i just checked out their reviews and based on what im reading now, i wouldnt recommend them. holy shit...the past month has all been complaints. Thanks Alex! I will be getting my old car back 98 atlantic blue cobra. I kept in touch with the guy I sold it to. In 4 years he has added 30k in miles and took well taken care of it. Can't wait to get it back should be a couple of weeks though.

Try them, I had my shipped from cali to NC and back. In 05 it was $800.00 to get it there and a little over a grand to get it back 6 months later. They took good care of it.
