I'm just trying to get an idea of what it's worth, because I really have no idea. Don't have too much info other then '66 orig 289, has 351 clevland, mild cam, decent carb, longtubes, auto, stock rearend, stock brakes, interior is decent. It's been sitting for almost 5yrs now. Just trying to get a feel for what it's worth because I might sell the my coupe and buy it
It's actually my dads car, he gave me a call the other day and said he may be in need of some money. I don't want to screw him for what it's worth. He really doesnt want to sell it to anyone except my brother and I. I'm not looking for a exact price just a range
Thanks
these pics were taken a couple years ago, but the car still looks the same and hasn't moved [ July 11, 2008, 05:12 PM: Message edited by: J24I ]

I'd say $8-12K maybe...Those 64-68 coupes are a dime a dozen and unless completely restored or resto-modded, I dont think they're worth much more...just my opinion though.
Needless to say its a nice looking classic

It depends, really. To me, the Cleveland is a plus but does it add value? It probably detracts from the value a bit. Still, the body panels and gaps look arrow straight and I'm guessing zero rust. The car looks exceptional. I would say $12K-$13K or so.

Assuming the car is straight, has not rust, and looks as good as the pics show, I would say the car was worth $10K 2 years ago.
Today it is tough to price the value of these V8 sports cars because gas prices are making the ownership of these cars much greater luxuries than they were just two years ago when gas cost half of what it does now.
A lot more people are dumping off their V8 sports cars than there are new people interested in picking the hobby up. Market supply is increasing and while demand decreases leading to a price decline.
I would say $7-8K for that blue car today would be very reasonable.
Just my opinion. [ July 13, 2008, 06:04 PM: Message edited by: Luke87GT ]
