Topic: I learned something new about my stang today...

Today I learned that the sidescoops on the 94-95 mustangs are somewhat functional. They have a small vent area in the wheelwell, which is right behind the sidescoops & the scoops actually have holes in them. It most likely really doesnt do much, but I could see some custom brake cooling ducts being a possibilty if fabbed up right, not that I would try to do it....Ford changed these in 96 (I think) to non functional...At least i know my 96 & 97 didnt have these...
What was the purpose of these vents??

I never paid attention to it, but I saw this on another forum & then went outside to look....I know that the scoops on my 97 Cobra didnt have holes in them....
