Yeah,and it smelled like stop leak after it popped.
And i do like that GT but my lady really wants an auto.Plus i dont think she could even operate a king cobra clutch.You gotta have a good leg for that shit!

The car is 17 years old there will be some flaws! I think the real problem here is you cant afford a $6000 mustang. If all the things you described were correct it would be 6k and not $3500. YOU cant AFFORD the car YOU are trying to buy. The car is clean and the gaskets are fixed. **pause**

To me he still is kind of a crook for not disclosing that new stuff in the ad. At least say it has new head gaskets or what have you. I really dont like when people dont disclose the real important stuff like no title, blown head gasket....

Okay so if you didnt know the dude would you be riding so hard on the buyer? The car had stop leak in it for Christ sake. He named off half of dozen things that should really be in the ad. If that is your folks you should tell him to disclose everything thats important as to not waste his time or potential buyers.

props to your friend for returning his money........HOWEVER I think 50daddy is doing us a service by reporting on this car in case someone else here is thinking of buying it, you said both head gaskets were fixed in a few hours??? Head gaskets blow for a reason, and unless your friend has a resurfacer hiding in his garage and was able to strip, resurface, straight edge the block, and reassemble in a few hours, I wouldn't buy it for that much money, I would make him an offer on the value of the car minus engine because that's what he's selling.

I have seen head gaskets rot. I have also replaced head gaskets when there was no warpage or other repairs needed. Gaskets do not last forever.

The thermostat was put in backwards and caused it to over heat. THERE WAS NOT stop leak in the radiator. As you can see in the picture the seat isnt smashed. If you cant hook a speedo cable up dont buy a stang. The rims came off another car. If you dont want to haggle with filing a lost pink form then dont buy the car however crooks dont usualy have you come to their house like he did. Oh and cut springs? Run for the hills guys the car is done for.
Dont buy a craigslist add buy the car. Anyone can call and get all the details they want.

One positive is he came and gave me my money back right away.I give him props for that cause alot of people wouldve burned me.But in afterthought its not worth 3450 or 3000.

And im just looking for a good clean mustang,not a 6k one.I am a piece of work too arent i!
And i doubt that someone on welfare could come up with 1000,let alone 3000.
