I've been told many a times that car insurance will drop drastically at 25. How do I go abouts doing this? I'm with AAA, and I'm in the middle of my year - it doesn't expire until march of 08. Do I have to call them and ask? I've gotten 3 tickets, once at 16, and 2 last year (both for speeding, took traffic school for one).. think that single point will kill it for me? I never even saw my insurance rise up after that one ticket

I'm pretty sure it's 9 year's of driving experience that they are basing off of so most people get their license when their 16 & at 25 they have 9 year's driving experience.

That's lame. I only save 166 a year. I called them and actually had to haggle with the guy in order to get him to drop my price. He said there's no real mature driver discount, it just drops a little bit per year. Maybe it's time to start shopping.
