I haven't been on this board in a long, long time. I haven't owned a Ford in a long time, and a Mustang even longer. I had an 89 hatch that I traded for a 90 Taurus SHO because I was delivering pizzas at the time and couldnt afford the gas (12mpg in the Mustang). I then sold the SHO and got a 95 Integra LS. I still owe a little < $7k on the Integra, and it obviously ain't worth that much. I work 6 days a week, usually 10-12+hours a day, so I never even drive the damn thing. I had a bike, but back in August I was hit by a truck and am still waiting to get $ for it.

Awhile back a friend of mine got an 02 GT, and we had taken a ride in it and it made me miss having real torque and power. Now my Integra only feels quick because I drive a Chevy Express work van around every day. I don't have very good credit, so I can't just up and get a different car. I also don't have any $ to just buy one outright.

I want an older V8 that I can work on, not worry about smog etc. Or a bike. I miss the excitement of either, my days are pretty pedestrian and non-exciting and I sit around wishing I could just hop on my bike like I used to and go riding. Or spend my time wrenching on my car. I haven't done anything other than change the oil on my Integra since I bought it.

I know there's not much I can do other than continue paying off the Integra and wait around for a settlement/lawsuit from my bike accident. Just thought I'd vent to you guys and tell you I'm jealous [Razz]

I feel your pain. I went from a 2003 Cobra, to selling the damn thing. I got a ticket going over 115+. Insurance was almost doubled my payment of the car payment. Had to let it go. I'm stuck with my once great beater 91 Honda Civic, that is now falling apart (I've had for 5 years). I'm selling my bike right now, so that I can get things going on this house thing. Which has been delayed over a year now because of certain changes. But we'll be back sooner or later and hopefully with a BANG! [Cool]

thats one thing about the integra. i haven't done a goddamned thing to it, haven't had to. I think I've put 60k miles on it (a lot of it was my gf and roommate driving it when I had my bike and they had no cars, and driving from sac to fresno and back, a few coast road trips etc). it's reliable as all hell, there's no doubt about that. but seeing as how I rarely drive it now I want to drive something that is at least fun when I DO drive it.

right now I'd actually prefer to just have a bike. I don't have a garage in which to work on a car. Though once I get a career started and get a house I'll definitely want somethin in there [Razz] I miss the hell out of my bike every day. I see all these dipshits riding in tennis shoes, shorts and tshirts every day and think goddamnit, I wore my gear all the time and yet these fuckers still have something to ride [Mad] I wish I could sell the Integra, use the $ to buy a bike and continue to pay off the car loan, but since the bank has the title I can't do that. At least if I could do that I could avoid financing a bike and getting raped by it

Dog I have been building my 2nd mustang for about 4-5 years now when I started college.

Now I got my B.S and just started my career I'm saving up for a nice Dart setup along with a new house. Don't worry about it man just be patient and good things will come!

You got your priorities right tho. Get the house and career together. Then get your hobby together. I need to sell a few of my project/buckets [burnout]
