I work at Home Depot with ADOWER off of here, we were unloading 12ft sheets of sheet rock today out of a bob-tail and I was bending over straightening out the sheet so that they would not break. Well at the same time these guys kept pitching them and one hit me in the head across the neck. Knocked me back and down for a minute or so. I didn't get a concussion but shit jammed my neck really good. Anyways, I went where they sent me which happened to be Med7. They took x-rays and said everything looked negative. I was thinking, I'll give it a couple of days and see what happens but I was wondering if I missing anything and if anyone advice has?

go to your own doctor, and not a company doctor!

Since douche bag Arnold started his major fuck up of California he did a real number on workers compensation. The first month immediately after a work related injury you must comply with the insurance carrier's wishes with a provider within THEIR MPN (Medical Provider Network).

After that I would HIGHLY recommend that you find an outside network doctor because the insurance companies all have doc-in-the-box places like Med7/MedClinic in their back pockets. Just play it safe and take it easy if you're actually in pain. Even if you are not in pain pain can still develop due to an injury taking more time to develop.

I would consult a chiropractor and request that an MRI be performed since an X-Ray is only good for determining bone injuries and not soft tissue injuries. MRI's are expensive and work comp will probably want to fight your doctor on it but make sure you get one! Just remember one thing if you take any of this with you. The insurance companies ARE NOT on your side. They on their own side and making money is in their best interest, not getting you better.

After going through "2" back surgeries and experiencing physical therapy ETC I must disagree with you 100%

I had the worst headache when I woke up this morning that felt like it was coming right from where the fucking peice of sheetrock hit me. I also felt really stiff. I'm not sure how big of a deal I want to make about it though, I hope that it is just a bruise or something really minor. I'm afriad if I make a big deal it could affect how, when, or if I can get into the Sherrif Academy in January, as wokercomp cases can drag out. On another note though, the Dr. gave me this muscle relaxor, knocked me the FUCK OUT cold! I slept for 16 hours!

Well it all depends upon whom your workers compensation insurance carrier is. State Compensation Insurance Fund is the biggest group of greedy Jewish assholes one could assemble. I have been dealing with my vocational rehab payout for over 4 years now and still haven't received a dime from it. I have lifetime medical on my back regardless. The main problem is that insurance carriers since 2004 have instituted a U&R policy (utilization and review) for every little fucking thing. The problem with that is the insurance company doctors/heebs love to deny treatments that do not fit within "ACOM" guidelines (ACOM: American College Of Occupational Medicine) which pretty much was written in 1920. Anybody injured on the job in California anymore should consult with a workers compensation attorney so that they will be properly represented. Insurance companies love to the bend the patient over. They have with me plenty of times. One of my closest friends whom past away @ 32 last December was still fighting for his settlement and treatment 3 years after his injury. I'm sorry for being blunt if I'm offending anybody but I have absolutely no remorse or care for California's workers compensation insurance carriers.
