it runs, but shitty. Gas is 8 years old. How do I flush a gas tank. Is there a product on the market that is usefull, should I go to a radiator shop, should I just buy a new one. New one is $200,...close to what I paid for the project

Just a 1970 Karmann Ghia. Not looking to dump a ton of money into it. Just something to fuck around with.

I found thesamba.com screen name jdub07 thanks for the heads up. If you want a 60's rear bumper you can have the one I pulled off last night. It isn't for my year. Has rust but is strait. It's going to the scrapper if you don't want it.

Jdub I will take the rear bumper from you, and I will trade you a 70's rear bumper with no rust. Let me know.

Shit...I'd love that deal! Although I have to give V-town dibs on getting it since I already offered it to him. I had no idea so many caforders had a ghia
V-town if you don't need the bumper please let me know so I can take photos for Aaron and maybe swap him bumpers.
Thanks guys! J

Here is the craigslist ad that I found the car. Guess sometimes it doesn't hurt to hit up people with SHITTY ad's. Guy turned out to be really nice and was the second owner of the car so that makes me lucky number 3.

I thought you'd like it...remember my old bug in the mud!? Don't think I'll take this mud boggin but will sure have fun in it. I'll take some more font interior photos later once I get it cleaned up. 8 years of dust is crazy. I spent a good 4 hours removing the seats and vacuming. Floor mats fell apart in my hands. So for the time being I peiced one floormat together and laid it on top of an extra black hatchback carpet I've had for the mustand and cut it to size lol.

okay thanks v-town.
So Aaron if you can tell by the photo if this bumper actually is a 60's bumper then I will trade you for sure. I'm only going off what the guy told me when I bought it. If you have a 1970 front windshield I'd much rather have that!
If you'd like more photos of the rear bumper let me know and I'll shoot them. [ November 14, 2006, 11:46 AM: Message edited by: Jdub07 ]
